The 1st Few Days!

Wow, can this be real?? We are pregnant with Baby #2! We have waiting a long time for this moment...With Jacob being 5.5 and a Miscarry in 2006, we are just a little excited about the news.

I took a test on Monday, Jan. 4th, 2010. It came out positive and I had a horrible cold, so I called to get into the doctor. He called Wed to confirm the pregnancy test!! Proud papa already had posted it on FB before I could get off the phone! All our friends and family are super happy for us. It is amazing how when the last thing you think about...happens...with the move to Japan in March, his return just this past Dec 5th, 2009, we didn't baby talk...AT ALL!! Well, look what happened...as of this blog, I am probably only 3 weeks along. But let me tell you...it is a strong one.

I used to be able to go most of the day without eating if I was not hungry...now, forget it...I get hunger pains so fast. I eat well for myself and now baby. It's so amazing how the embryo needs my food to grow. I know that we all know how babies grow and how important it is to eat and take care of our growing fetus', but to really sit back and think of the process is awesome. If I don't eat...he/she/they don't grow. Simply put.

I just hope and pray that this is a strong and healthy pregnancy and child. With Jacob, I didn't know I was even pregnancy until about 7 weeks...not this one!! I was 3 days late and that never happens...so I knew!!
